Silverfish in the bathroom, kitchen or cellar? With an automatic dispenser you treat the whole room, including at night when they are active. Show more
Silverfish come out at night in damp rooms such as the bathroom, kitchen, cellar and utility room. During the day they hide behind skirting boards, tiles and under the bath, where a spray can does not reach. With an automatic dispenser you treat the whole room, including the moments when they are active.
A silverfish lives two to eight years and can go months without food. The few you see are only a small part of what is hiding in gaps and joints. As long as the room is damp and there is paper, cardboard or crumbs around, new ones arrive. That is why an approach that only covers one spot or one moment, such as a sticky trap or a spray can, usually works only briefly.
The Insect Free dispenser releases a fine mist into the room at set intervals. You set it once and mount it high on the wall. After that it works day and night, including at night when silverfish come out of hiding. One dispenser covers a room up to about 100 m², and one refill lasts up to thirty days with normal use.
After the first month you replace the refill. You will find them under refills.
Combine the dispenser with a few steps against damp and food. Let the extractor fan run for fifteen minutes after showering, replace perished sealant, seal gaps at skirting boards and pipes, and store paper and cardboard in sealed boxes. Mount the dispenser high on the wall in the room where you see the silverfish, for example the bathroom or cellar. The mist spreads through the room and reaches corners and skirting boards.
For a damp room or a persistent problem, choose Extra Strong. For a dry room or if you have only just spotted a few silverfish, Regular is usually enough.
With normal use, one refill lasts up to thirty days. Because silverfish live long and leave eggs behind, keep the dispenser running for a few months.
Yes. Paper silverfish look like silverfish but also live in dry rooms such as the living room or loft. The approach with an automatic dispenser is the same for both.
When used as directed and positioned according to the instructions, the dispenser is safe for people and pets. Mount it out of reach of children and pets.
